Honor just teased its first AI-powered humanoid robot at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, marking the company’s entry into a new product category that extends beyond smartphones and mobile ecosystems.

The announcement was made first through a teaser video published on the social platform X, offering an early look at the robot’s design. The machine follows a familiar humanoid format, featuring a matte black exterior and a glass-covered face. A horizontal light bar represents the eyes, while a single front-facing camera is positioned on the forehead, suggesting a focus on visual perception and interaction. The robot’s head has a slightly unconventional shape, reinforcing its concept-driven design.

According to information shared with CNBC, the device is being developed as a service robot. Its intended role is to assist users with everyday activities, including shopping and other practical tasks, although detailed technical specifications and capabilities have not yet been disclosed.

The humanoid robot appears to be part of a broader connected ecosystem.
