Xiaomi Expands Mijia Lineup with New Premium Dual-System Refrigerator

Xiaomi has officially expanded its smart home appliance portfolio with the launch of the Mijia Refrigerator Pro Dual-System French-Style Built-in 560L. Positioned within the brand’s premium connected line, this model focuses on automated convenience, advanced preservation technologies, and seamless integration with the Xiaomi ecosystem.

The refrigerator’s standout feature is its integrated “ice factory” located in the freezer. This automated system can produce clean ice cubes in approximately 55 minutes, with a total daily capacity of 1.22 kg. To ensure hygiene, the unit includes an antibacterial storage box and a three-minute automated self-cleaning cycle.

For food preservation, the appliance utilizes several proprietary technologies:

• Active Ion Purification: A system designed to eliminate odors with 99.9% efficiency in under ten minutes.

• Water Molecule Sieve: Specialized vegetable drawers using moisture membranes to keep produce fresh for up to seven days.

• Deep Freezing: The freezer reaches temperatures as low as –30°C, preserving the cellular structure of meats and sensitive food items.

Design and Smart Integration

The 560-liter French door model is designed for high capacity and quiet operation, emitting only 31 dB. The freezer drawers are reinforced to support up to 50 kg, accommodating large items without pre-cutting.

Connectivity is managed via the Mi Home app, allowing users to schedule ice production remotely. The software also features a “Smart Peak/Valley” mode, which optimizes cooling cycles to align with lower electricity rates. The refrigerator maintains a high efficiency rating with a daily energy consumption of approximately 0.88 kWh.

Pricing and Availability

The Mijia Refrigerator Pro 560L has debuted in the Chinese market with a promotional pre-sale price of approximately 6,443 yuan (roughly $900). Plans for a global rollout have not yet been announced.
