Huawei Debuts Band 11 And Band 11 Pro With Enhanced AMOLED Displays

Huawei has officially expanded its wearable lineup with the launch of the Huawei Band 11 and Band 11 Pro. While both devices share a similar design language and core feature set, they are distinguished by their build materials, physical dimensions, and price points.

Both models feature a 1.62-inch AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 286 × 482 and a pixel density of 347 PPI. Navigation is handled through a combination of full touchscreen controls and a dedicated physical side button.

The primary hardware differences lie in the chassis:

• Huawei Band 11: Available in either an aluminum alloy or a durable polymer case. It weighs between 16 and 17 grams depending on the material.

• Huawei Band 11 Pro: Features an aluminum alloy case by default and is slightly larger at 43.5 mm in height, weighing 18 grams (excluding the strap).

Both wearables utilize fluoroelastomer straps and carry a 5 ATM water resistance rating, making them suitable for swimming. Tracking is supported by a 9-axis IMU sensor (accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer) alongside an optical heart rate sensor and an ambient light sensor.

Connectivity and Battery Life

The series utilizes Bluetooth 6.0 (BLE) and is compatible with Android 9.0+ and iOS 13.0+. Each device is powered by a 300mAh battery designed to last up to 14 days under light usage, 8 days under typical conditions, or 3 days with the Always-On Display (AOD) enabled.

Pricing and Availability

The devices have launched initially in the Philippines. The standard Huawei Band 11 starts at PHP 2,399 (approx. $43), while the Huawei Band 11 Pro is priced at PHP 4,499 (approx. $80). As of now, there is no official word regarding a release in the United States.
